LENORE DAVIS – ROSA BRANCH REPRESENTATIVE
Moody Family Bio – Currently serving as the Rosa Branch Representative and have served at this capacity for many years.
Personal Bio – I served as an Executive Assistant for the VP of Finance at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and attended Springfield Gardens, High School and Central Commercial High School.
Ancestry – I am a daughter of Dorothy Norris Hurst Williams, Granddaughter of Carrie Stevens Norris Wallace, Great Granddaughter of Rosa Bell Moody Stevens, Great great granddaughter of Amanda Golphin Moody
Fun Fact – I learned to drive at age 60.
Favorite Quote – Psalm 118:24 – “This is the day the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Each new day are always referred to as the present, and that is what God’s gift is to us. If I had to give advice to my younger self, I would tell her to pay attention a lot more, wherein some of your decisions don’t have to be reevaluated. You have done well, with the trials met. GAIL GANT – LIZZIE BRANCH REPRESENTATIVE
Moody Family Bio – Former Vice President, Treasurer and currently Branch Representative. I love attending the Family Reunion every year.
Personal Bio – Retired as Dir of Payroll/Timekeeping Services for MTA NYC Transit. Former Transportation Consultant for RCBS, servicing the Dept of Transportation. Served 18 yrs on the Educational Video Center (EVC) Board as Vice President and later as Treasurer. Received a Masters Degree from NYU Wagner School of Public Service
Ancestry – Mother of Nicole D. Gant, Kevin C. Gant; daughter of George Williamson and Lueray Dunbar Williamson; granddaughter of Lizzie Moody Dunbar and William Marian Dunbar; great granddaughter of Amanda Golphin Moody and John Oscar Moody, Jr; great great granddaughter of Milledge Golphin and Isabella Walker Golphin.
Fun Fact – Former actress with the New Federal Theater (NFT). Some well known actors have come through NFT, such as Samuel Jackson, Denzel Washington. Debbie Allen, Phylicia Rashad, Chadwick Bozeman, Issa Rae and many more.

LAMONT GORDON – WALTER BRANCH REPRESENTATIVE
Moody Family Bio – Currently serving as the Milledge Walter Branch Representative.
Personal Bio – Served in the US Navy for twenty years and retired in 2003. I worked for the Department of Defense for eighteen years, retiring again in 2021 for a total of thirty-eight years of government service. Married to Marisol Gordon for thirty-five years, we have five children and five grandchildren.
Ancestry – I’m the son of Millage Walter Gordon, the son of Mary Ann Gordon (Moody), the daughter of Milledge Walter Moody Sr.
Fun Fact – I love to travel and playing golf.

BRIANNA CUMMINGS – ISABELLA BRANCH REPRESENTATIVE
Moody Family Bio – Currently serving as the Milledge Walter Branch Representative.
Personal Bio – Graduated Cum Laude from Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ with a B.A in Education and a B.A. in English. Currently work as a High School English Teacher.
Ancestry – I am the daughter of Bryan Cummings, granddaughter of Elease Bush, great granddaughter of Isabella & (Husband’s Name), great great granddaughter of Amanda & John Oscar Moody, Jr.
Fun Fact – I teach in the town that I grew up in and still live in.

WAYNE JONES, SR – DAN BRANCH REPRESENTATIVE
Moody Family Bio – Served as the Dan Branch Representative from 2001-2003 and Moody Family Treasurer from (insert dates)
Personal Bio – I retired from the United States Army after serving Twenty-Two years with my last assignment being that of First Sergeant. I had several overseas assignments to include deployment during the Bosnia-Herzegovina conflict. I fully surrendered my life to Jesus Christ in 1982 while stationed in Heidelberg, West Germany. I consider giving my life to Jesus the best move I have ever made. I have a servant’s heart and was initially ordained a COGIC Elder in 1992.
I served in Church Administration since October 1998 and currently serves on staff at Crossroad Christian Church as Church Manager under the leadership of Pastors Anthony and Margo Wallace. This is the Lord’s doing and marvelous in our eyes. (Psalm 118:23)
I served in various leadership capacities and on several Executive Boards, and currently serve as treasurer of the Better Community Development Corporation, a non-profit in the state of Delaware. I have three college degrees culminating with a Master’s Degree in Administration from Central Michigan University, with the distinction of graduating “Thank You Laude.”
I am married to my high-school sweetheart, best friend, and loving wife, Vanessa. We have four adult children and 12 grandchildren.
Ancestry – I, Wayne R. Jones, Sr (5th Gen) is the son of Gertrude Moody Jones, the daughter of Daniel W. Moody, son Oscar P. Moody, Jr., son of Oscar Moody.

ANTHONY MOODY, JR – JOHNNY BRANCH REPRESENTATIVE
Moody Family Bio – As a child and young adult I attended several reunions from the 1980s onward. I became Johnny Branch Rep. a few months before the 50th Reunion in 2017. During that Reunion, I was nominated and Elected as President. I served in that capacity until 2021. After that, I have returned to being Johnny Branch Rep.
Personal Bio – Originally from Jamaica, NY, I have lived in and around Augusta, GA over 40 years. I have been employed by the City of Augusta for 28 years, 24 of those as a professional firefighter and emergency medical technician. As a member of the International Firefighters Union (Local 3357), I have served as Vice President and President. I was awarded a Medal for Exceptional Duty in 2016 after being honored as Head Start Parent of the Year for the Central Savannah River Area and the State of Georgia. I earned a promotion to Sergeant in October 2020. An avid golfer, I have been employed with Augusta National Golf Club (home of the Masters golf tournament) since 2015. My wife, Vera, is an Autism Specialist with over 10 years in the classroom and is now an Evaluator that helps special needs access much needed services.
Ancestry – I am the son of Caldonia Moody Gaines (Gen. 5) and the grandson of Daniel Webster Moody, Sr. (Gen. 4), great grandson of John Oscar Moody, III, Patriarch of the Johnny Branch.
Fun Fact – I have been working on my ancestry.com family tree for over 10 years. Genealogy is one of my biggest hobbies.

CATHERINE PARRISH – JOHNNY BRANCH REPRESENTATIVE – CO LEAD
Moody Family Bio – Currently serving as the Johnnie Branch Co Lead Representative. I served as recording secretary from 2017-2021 and Parliamentarian.
Personal Bio – I was born in Jackson, SC and married for 39 Years to Donald F Parrish. I am the mother of 4 Sons – Donald, Matthew, Sean and Troy and grandmother of 9 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. I work for the FAA/Aviation Safety/Flight Standards as a Workforce Development Division/Manager, Training Management Branch and served 41 years in government service.
